The first step to becoming certified is to become a member of WCO. As a member you will be able to purchase courses and certification exams. The exams cost $70 each, but there is a 50% discount provided to students who have taken the courses. The exams are taken online on your schedule. After you purchase an exam you can take it whenever you are ready. If you pass the exam, you will receive your official certificate by mail and there is also a Web version so prospective employers and clients can see it. If you fail the exam, you may retake it after waiting at least 24 hours and repaying the exam fee.
