Exam History
The WebYoda certifications were the first nationally recognized Webmaster certifications available. In October 1997 WebYoda, in partnership with Florida State University, began developing the first national Webmaster Certification Standard. The first WebYoda certification was awarded March 09, 1998. To date WebYoda has awarded over 5000 certifications.

Exam Overview:
The WebYoda Associate Webmaster (WAW) is our entry level certification which covers our first four core webmaster courses. The WAW certification is for candidates seeking the knowledge to develop and activate their own basic Web site and avoid the large fees of outsourcing the project to someone else.

The WAW certification is for anyone who wants to improve his/her HTML/XHTML and CSS skills without making a major commitment. This certification is the prerequisite to the WCW exam, and provides the skills needed to acquire an entry-level Webmaster position for maintaining existing static Web sites or building simple Web sites from scratch. This exam is 60 questions and you have 90 minutes to complete the exam, timed by our server. Candidates must score 70% or higher to pass this exam.

WAW Courses:
The WAW courses are those courses that directly prepare students to pass the WAW exam.
